John G. Fahey, Jr., Esq.

John G. Fahey, Jr. received his B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from St. Vincent College in 1959. He served as Dean of the Classics Department at Central Catholic High School from 1962 through 1968. Attorney Fahey received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 1971.

Attorney Fahey was appointed to the office of Workmen's Compensation Referee in 1972. He served as a Commonwealth Referee for thirteen years. He has been a panelist for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute for PBI courses and has lectured extensively to groups of lawyers, insurers and self-insureds. He has appeared as an expert in civil and administrative litigation and as an advisory witness before the Senate Advisory Commission for the furtherance of workers' compensation procedures and adjustments to the statute.

In 1985 Mr. Fahey retired from State Service and entered the Law Firm of Fried, Kane, Walters and Zuschlag. He has practiced for over twenty years representing claimants before the Social Security Administration and in Federal Courts. In 1986, he became a sole practitioner.

John Fahey joined DeAngelis, Dastur & Associates in 1991. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and all State Courts; Federal District Courts; and the United States Supreme Court.

John Fahey is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations with Section Memberships in the workers' compensation sections. He has previously served on many Boards of Directors in the MH/MR sector and is Past President of several such Boards.
